This film was the result of a year-long collaboration between myself (animator) and my aunt Zuleika (illustrator) and explores the importance of finding ‘Duende’* amidst conflicting human ideals.
*Duende: a Spanish term for a heightened state of emotion, expression and authenticity, ‘a quality of passion and inspiration’.
